The contractor is about to complete the renewal of the multi-ethnic public garden at the intersection of Belinskogo and Usova Streets. The new public space, “Wind Garden”, will be open to the city residents soon. The project of the new public space was designed by the members of the design studio «LLT ONE».
According to the developers, it was possible to «revive» the intersection and emphasize the diversity of the student community during the implementation of this non-standard project. Smooth and streamlined forms were used in the project. A concrete foundation «Globe» appeared around the milestone, on which artists and graffiti artists will create a picture of continents and countries, places where Tomsk foreign students come from.
The multinational diversity of Tomsk students is supported, among other things, by truss grids with individual design in three languages: Russian, English and Chinese.
Also in the park, there is a site with a special path for cyclists, and the species diversity of green spaces in the park has been expanded.
Twenty seven benches were installed in the landscaped public garden, and it is planned to add an intelligent video surveillance system to the «Wind Garden» by mid-November.
